Support the Orthodox orphanage in Fiji and contribute to the love, care and education of the orphaned and indigent children, from infancy to adolescence.
St Tabitha’s Greek Orthodox Orphanage provides a holistic approach to children’s development.
Offering love, care, education and moral upbringing; it caters for the physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual developmentt of children and we are honoured to help.
Poverty remains a significant concern in Fiji despite the images portrayed in holiday brochures. St Tabitha’s and the Orthodox mission has focused its efforts in the poorer rural districts of Fiji where poverty has increased with limited food, education and housing causing great hardship to families.
We aim to support the work of the Orthodox mission in the following ways:
1. To support the holistic care and education of children at St. Tabitha’s orphanage & children’s home.
2. To improve educational outcomes for the current children by introducing a primary/highschool Tutoring Program.
3. To establish a Community Kindergarten accessible to local families in the Lautoka district.
OUR FUTURE PLANS: To custom build a Kindergarten, a Primary school (incorporating a tutoring class) and a medical clinic.
