Paradise 4 Kids

P4K-USA-LOGO-small-V2-JPEGRev Themi has had a long and illustrious relationship with the United States, as far back as the early 1980s, Brother Themi, as he was known back then, studied and lived on the East Coast of the United States.

Attending the Holy Cross School of Theology in Boston Massachusetts, he completed a Master of Theological Studies while concurrently studying at Harvard Divinity School, and then undertaking a Master of Theology at Princeton Divinity School, and finally completing a PhD at Brown University.

During this time he forged life long friendships with many brothers and sisters in Christ, who today are some of his strongest supporters.

Over the years these friends and supporters have kept up to date with Rev Themi’s works and mission by following his steps on the PK4A website.

Always desiring to return to visit his friends, his missionary work kept him busy; for as long as I can remember, every year, he would make plans to visit the United States while travelling back to Africa from Australia.

But for reasons only known to God and the responsibilities of missionary work, this reunion always eluded him, until late 2011.

In December 2011, Rev Themi, was invited to speak at his old Alma mater during the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology’s Missions Week & Conference seminars.

During his time in the US, Rev Themi visited the East Coast from Boston to New Jersey and the West Coast surrounding Los Angles.

These rekindling of friendships encouraged the formation of Paradise4Kids Charity based in the US and establish a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

We have taken these steps because of Rev Themi’s great desire of accountability is paramount in everything he does. Within Sierra Leone Rev Themi operates a NGO called Paradise Kids 4 Sierra Leone which consults and operates the mission within the guidelines of Sierra Leone laws. It is this NGO that Paradise 4 Kids will form a partnership with and obey the laws of the land.

It is this process that will make accountable every cent that is raised in the United States under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and in the eyes of God.
